The Old Republic - Rising Darkness (FAN GAME)

Star Wars: The Old Republic - Rising Darkness is a First Person Shooter fan game set in the Old Republic era of the Star Wars universe currently in development using Unreal Engine 4.27.

"The galaxy has been at peace for 300 years. The Sith are believed to have been nothing more than a myth during the reign of the Republic, tales that are told as scary stories. The Jedi, nor the Republic could predict that they were hiding in the deep Outer Rim, waiting for the right time to return and wage a new war on all Republic Systems. With the element of Surprise, the Sith Empire turn their attention to reclaiming their homeworld of Korriban."

This game is in very early stages of development, with the story still in the process of being written and tweaked so that all parts of the game flow perfectly. There are other elements of the game that are in very early planning stages, like potential multiplayer and other game modes besides the main campaign.

With this game, I wanted to give it the feel of that of the early 2000's Star Wars games, like Republic Commando, Jedi Knight, etc. These games were a huge inspiration for me growing up, and still continue to be games I play to this day, so I wanted to make my own game with these in mind, but set in an era that has only ever been explored through games briefly.
